Building for a Healthy Life

Building for a Healthy Life is the latest edition of – and new name for – Building for Life 12.

Building for a Healthy Life (BfHL) updates England’s most widely known and used design tool for creating places that are better for people and the environment. The original 12 point structure and underlying principles within Building for Life are at the heart of BfHL. The new name reflects changes in legislation as well as refinements which have been made to the 12 considerations in response to good practice and user feedback.

As a founding member of the Design Network, Integreat Plus is a recognised independent assessor and training provider on the new BfHL for local authorities and organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber.

If you are interested in having a scheme independently assessed or require training on the new BHL please get in touch here jamie.wilde@integreatplus.com
