Riverside/Pointblank Theatre

This project looked into expanding an existing pub that overlooks the river to a new cultural destination for recreational activities including a theatre. We held consultation events with the local stakeholders to gain feedback on what they envisioned for the future of the building, and the services and facilities they would like to see provided, which we then turned this into a number of design options.

Old Town Hall, Sheffield

In 2017, The Friends of The Old Town Hall group invited Integreat Plus to work with them on creating an outline business plan and viability assessment for the repurposing of the Grade II listed building on Waingate in Sheffield. The output was a report entitled ‘Pathways to Viability’ which was made up of a number of different elements. The first was an outline business plan incorporating financial planning and delivery estimations based on concept reuse plans and phasing diagrams.

Alongside this, Integreat Plus looked at options appraisals for a select number of different uses to assess which combinations might be the most viable. We worked with Time Architects to generate a condition survey of the building, and Appleyard and Trew quantity surveyors to create a Conservation Deficit calculation. We complemented these sections with ideas on branding and marketing strategies as well as a communications strategy.

The whole report was presented in a high quality format with the content tailored to the requirements of the Architectural Heritage Fund and Heritage Lottery Fund, who were providing funding for the study.

Wakefield Arms, Wakefield

This project provided a selection of options for the reuse, as well as an assessment of the architectural and historic significance of the Wakefield Arms pub near the Kirkgate Station in Wakefield. We produced  three conceptual options illustrated showing different scales of development additions. Across all three, these options include a boutique hotel, a restaurant, a deli shop and café, a tap bar, an art hostel, a live work unit, apartments, and a landscaped garden.
