Care Opinion is a non-profit organisation, based in Sheffield and Stirling. It is funded mainly through subscriptions from health and care organisations.

It provides a space for people to share their experiences of health and care services online. Care Opinion has been delivering this since 2005, and has built a national and international reputation for innovation in both the health and social care sectors for its value-led approach to online feedback

James Munro – Chief Executive

James has been chief executive of Care Opinion since 2014. His background is clinical medicine, public health and health services research, and he has spent most of his time over the past 10 years overseeing the development of Care Opinion’s online feedback platform. As CEO James focuses on sharing Care Opinion’s mission with people in health and social care, and with health professionals in training, emphasizing the importance of generosity, curiosity and reciprocity in our work.

Interesting fact: James once tried to explain how Care Opinion worked to the Queen.

LUNCH PLUS

LunchPlus is a business networking event designed with a focus on social enterprise. Our aim is to provide a broad, diverse and inclusive platform profiling key networks, sectors, innovation, new business opportunities, expertise, case studies, helpful business and financial services and products designed to support emerging and existing social enterprises across the Sheffield City Region.

The format for Lunch Plus is a 20min presentation and a chaired Q+A session followed by a light lunch networking opportunity.

Social Enterprise Exchange is a programme of support for social enterprise in Sheffield City Region delivered by a community-based consortium in collaboration with Sheffield City Region Growth Hub and funded by European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020.
