Cottingham Neighbourhood Plan wins at the ballot box. After 5 years working with the people of Cottingham and the Parish Council the Neighbourhood Plan was finally approved 15^th February 2018.

The vote overwhelming supports the plan with over 92.5% of those voting approving its ambitions and planning policy. This now becomes an integral part of the Local Plan which will help developers as they bring forward schemes that will now more accurately reflect the needs of the people of Cottingham.  The Neighbourhood Plan and its associated Design Guide will inform and influence Cottingham’s growth and future development for the next 15 years. We wish Cottingham well as it moves forward as a great place to live, work and enjoy.
